No. PiggyBank is not a bank account, deposit product or investment. It is a record of
the additional value your battery creates during GridPiggy Events. GridPiggy is not a
bank and does not provide financial products.
To be confirmed. Settlement and payment arrangements — including whether value is
paid out, credited or applied another way — have not been finalised, and no
withdrawal functionality exists today.
No. Every PiggyBank interface on this site is a concept preview with illustrative
numbers. There is no customer dashboard, login, live balance or Event history yet.
To be confirmed. The method will depend on the Event type, the energy the battery
charged or exported, the market or program value at the time and the agreed owner
share. The calculation will be published before any Event runs.
No, the other way around. Self-consumption comes first: an Event only uses eligible
battery flexibility, and PiggyBank records what is created on top of the savings your
battery already makes at home.
